FAQ

The questions we are most often asked

If something is not covered here, a Beltrami textile expert will answer it directly.
the house

A textile house with its beginnings in Cene, in the province of Bergamo, in 1965, and today led by Cinzia Imberti Beltrami. Its sensibility has been shaped by decades of expertise in hospitality, and it makes textiles for hotels, spas, yachts and private residences.

Textiles for the rooms where comfort is measured most closely: Bedding, Bath, Spa, Table, Lifestyle and Bespoke. Each begins at the hand, with the feel of first contact, and is made to hold that quality through use, washing, and time.
Three things, held together: how it feels in the hand, how it performs in daily use, and how it keeps its composure over time. Much of that comes from a way of making learned in hospitality, where textiles are used hard and asked to stay at their best, and from Autentica Fibra di Legno Beltrami, the birch-derived fibre developed by the house.

Materials and care
A birch-derived fibre developed by Beltrami, made to bring softness, breathability, absorbency and tactile freshness to the textiles it is woven into. It carries the EU Ecolabel and a range of biodegradability certifications, and its raw material is sourced under FSC and PEFC certification. You can read more on the Sustainability page.
Each piece carries care guidance on its label; following it is the surest way to keep a textile at its best. Beltrami designs for the full life of a piece, for the feel and composure it holds through use, washing, and time.
Yes. Autentica Fibra di Legno Beltrami is sourced under FSC and PEFC certification and holds the EU Ecolabel alongside certifications of biodegradability across natural and industrial settings. The house extends the same expectations to its supply chain through a Supplier Code of Conduct.
Responsibility
Beltrami operates a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2015, confirmed each year through internal audits by Bureau Veritas and by QIMA. Autentica Fibra di Legno Beltrami holds the EU Ecolabel, FSC and PEFC sourcing certification, and certifications of biodegradability. The full picture is on the Sustainability page.
Beltrami reads responsibility the way it reads quality, across three areas: the materials it chooses, the people who make them, and the conduct that runs through its supply chain. The figures and the detail are set out on the Sustainability page.
