The ‘Qualità Artigiana Lombarda’ award confirms our commitment to quality craftsmanship. We therefore feel obliged to thank all those who, on a daily basis, contribute to the achievement of such goals.

Craftsmanship is a fundamental part of Beltrami‘s identity and, for us, enhancing it means valuing the culture and human aspect behind each product.

The “FABRICa. Italian Textile Style and Innovation”

The “𝘍𝘈𝘉𝘙𝘐𝘊𝘢. 𝘐𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘛𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” recently kicked off its two-year global journey in Singapore, offering a window into Italian textile excellence.

Supported by the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, in collaboration with Sistema Moda Italia, ACIMIT and Confartigianato Imprese, and made possible thanks to the support of the diplomatic-consular network and Italian cultural institutes, the touring exhibition presents an engaging overview of the industry’s traditions and innovations.

Organized around six tactile and interactive installations and accompanied by a series of explanatory panels, The “𝘍𝘈𝘉𝘙𝘐𝘊𝘢. 𝘐𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘛𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘚𝘵𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” explores the diversity and richness of Made in Italy textiles, from fashion and home furnishings to the most sustainable yarns, highlighting Italian ingenuity in transforming natural and waste materials into advanced textile products.

Thanks to the contribution of 30 selected companies, the show celebrates the ability of the Italian textile supply chain, a world leader in quality and innovation, to combine advanced technology and craftsmanship, telling the story and evolution of the industry.

Among them, we are proud that Beltrami stands out in the sustainability category for its fine and durable fabrics made from our innovative material Autentica Fibra di Legno Beltrami, our textile fiber made from birch wood pulp through a sustainable and environmentally friendly process, helping to weave a story of excellence that continues to evolve and inspire the world.

School Work Experience in Beltrami

Craftsmanship is an art to be cultivated and developed, capable of bridging the gap between the knowledge of the past and the creativity of the future. In this sense, the school-work experience offers students the opportunity to get closer to the professional world, as happened to Margherita Leggeri in her experience at Beltrami.

We want young people to see in this world not only a professional opportunity, but also a choice that can enrich them, so that they can carry on with a fresh perspective, a tradition that we do not want to lose.

Inspired by the experience of the village’s elderly seamstresses, Margherita made a dress using recycled fabrics and materials, which was presented during the Mid-Lent Festival in Bergamo.

We would like to thank the Silv Fashion School in Bergamo for their collaboration and we are proud of the progress and commitment Margherita has shown during her school-to-work experience. We hope that an experience like this will inspire other young people to discover and appreciate the art of craftsmanship, helping to keep it alive and dynamic in future generations.

MISE EN PLACE LAB – Every sense of sitting at the table

Finding ourselves seated around a perfectly laid table represents much more than the response to a functional need such as eating.

It is in fact a true multi-sensory experience that each of us can enjoy individually or in a convivial manner.

Taking care of every single detail of the mise en place fully enhances customers’ experience in a fusion of emotions to be experienced through the five senses.

MISE EN PLACE LAB is the educational project in the restaurant industry focused on the dining room, created in collaboration with the cooking school promoted by chef Carlo Cracco, Villa Terzaghi, Beltrami and IMESA. With this project, we seek to pass on the value of Italian hospitality and style to future generations of Italian restaurants. The first lesson is to make guests’ experience memorable and enjoyable through a multi-sensory approach that accompanies diners in a love story made of details that open a portal to an almost whispered luxury.

Think for example about the sense of smell. During MISE EN PLACE LAB we tell the art of taking care of the fragrance expressed by fabrics, using, during the washing phase, eco-sustainable scented microcapsules as they are pollutant-free. This is a technology that can insert a specific fragrance into the fabric during the washing cycle and then slowly release it as the fabric physically comes into contact with diners during use.

Entering a restaurant room and perceiving at first glance a positive feeling resulting from a number of factors, such as, for example, the harmony of the colors of the tablecloths, the physicality of the texture of the fabrics, the scent of the natural essences used for washing, are all elements that create the same experience for which we will also feel in the future the pleasure of reliving it.

At Beltrami, we are pleased to be a part of such a meaningful project.
